East and West contenders collide Wednesday night in Cleveland, as the Cavaliers play host to Kevin Durant and the red-hot Houston Rockets. The game is scheduled to start at 7 p.m. ET with TV coverage on ESPN and streaming on-demand.

The Cavaliers go into Wednesday as narrow 1.5-point favorites on their home floor, sporting a 10-5 overall record and a 6-2 mark at Rocket Arena. Cleveland has won back-to-back games over the Milwaukee Bucks (118-106) and Memphis Grizzlies (108-100) as the team vies for position in the East’s Central Division behind the Detroit Pistons, who sit at 12-2 and ride a 10-game win streak. Donovan Mitchell knocked down 14 of 22 shots on his way to 37 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists in leading his team to victory against the Bucks, which marked his third straight 30-plus point performance.

The Rockets sit atop the Western Conference’s Southwest Division through 12 games with a 9-3 overall record and a 9-1 mark since opening the season with back-to-back losses to two of the NBA’s best teams in the Oklahoma City Thunder (125-124) and Detroit Pistons (115-111). Houston has also won six straight against Eastern Conference teams, most recently taking down the Orlando Magic (117-113) in overtime behind 35 points from Durant and 30 points and 12 rebounds from Alperen Sengun.
