Brewers begin construction on new premium club area

MILWAUKEE — The Brewers have started construction on a new premium club area at American Family Field.

“The Truss” will be open at the start of 2027. It’ll be an all-inclusive space for fans with tickets in the first six rows of the first level, where there are 375 seats.

Those seats inside the ballpark will be padded, 23- to 24-inch seats from dugout to dugout. The Brewers said current season ticketholders with those seats will be asked if they want to be a part of the club.

Tickets will start at $245 per game and will be available through full or half-season ticket plans. The cost includes the ticket, parking, and food and beverages, both inside the club and at the seat.

The club will be outside the ballpark, along the right-field line.

Renderings reveal it’ll have lots of green brick, an intentional choice to reflect the ballpark’s retractable roof. Inside, there will be a long bar and two levels of dining areas with outdoor deck.

The Brewers said the club will be open 30 minutes before the other stadium gates.

The Brewers are one of two teams in the MLB that don’t have a premium area that’s tied to seats behind home plate. The A’s are the other. However, both will now have one after the Brewers open theirs in 2027 and the A’s in 2028.

“We are endlessly focused on ensuring that the ballpark remains first in class,” said Brewers Chief Operating Officer Marti Wronski in a release. “Not just in terms of being clean and maintained, but in terms of the fan amenities and the experiences for all fans here at the ballpark.”

Wronski said the team did a lot of research to determine what to include and not include. He said the project is part of trying to keep the ballpark “modern.”
