One Norway fan was in attendance for the Spider-Man: Brand New Day premiere, and led the entire movie theater in a Viking Row after the screening.
Perhaps no fanbase captured the imagination of the global audience during the World Cup quite like the Norwegians. Their energy, enthusiasm, support, and traditions became a viral sensation.
The Viking Row became a signature celebration for traveling Norwegian fans, as even with the FIFA World Cup now behind us, the tradition has stayed in the United States.

Norwegian fan leads Viking Row during Spider-Man: Brand New Day screening
A Norwegian fan by the name of Ole Froystad, who claims to be the creator of the Viking Row celebration, was in attendance at one of the first screenings of Spider-Man: Brand New Day.
Before the movie began, Froystad went in front of the screen with a drum in hand, and led the audience in a Viking Row.
A fan dressed up in a full Spider-Man costume joined him right at the front, and led the row for the rest of the theater, with the entire audience joining in.
Even with the FIFA World Cup now over, the Viking Row has captured the imagination of fans in the country to such an extent that it is still a big part of the cultural zeitgeist.
Tom Holland and Erling Haaland’s recent connection makes Viking Row even more unique
Of course, Tom Holland, the actor playing Spider-Man in the new movie, recently made headlines when he revealed that he got left on read by Erling Haaland.
In the weeks since this revelation from Holland, the Norwegian striker caught wind of this, and admitted that he was willing to meet the Spider-Man actor.
During the red carpet for the premiere of Brand New Day, Holland admitted that the two haven’t made any plans to meet for dinner just yet.
Perhaps the two can share a laugh watching this clip of their two worlds crossing over when they do finally share a meal together.
