BOSTON, MA (WFSB) – The Boston Red Sox play their home opener against the San Diego Padres Friday afternoon.
The first pitch at Fenway Park is set for 2:10 p.m.
The game marks the first of three in Boston against the Padres.
As of Friday morning, the Sox were 1-5 and sat in last place in the American League East. The lone win was over the Cincinnati Reds in the first game of the season.
The Red Sox come in to Fenway following a game in which a three-run homerun lifted the Houston Astros to the win.
