Royals’ home opener airing on WIBW this afternoon

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) – The Kansas City Royals will host the Minnesota Twins in their home opener Monday afternoon. If you can’t make it over to Kauffman Stadium this afternoon, you can watch the game on WIBW at 3 p.m.

Beyond Monday, fans can use the team’s channel finder to see where the games will air based on their TV provider.

WIBW to air select Royals games in 2026

The Royals listed these channel options among major distributors:

  • DIRECTV on Channel 671-5 (satellite), 671 (streaming) and 1731 (U-verse)
  • Comcast/Xfinity on Channel 1262
  • Cox on Channels 78 (most areas), 52 (parts of Kansas and Nebraska) and 79 (Tulsa, Oklahoma)
  • Charter/Spectrum on Channel 361 (most areas) and 305 (Kansas City and Lincoln DMAs)
  • Games will also be available on Fubo, with other providers listed on the website

Fans living inside the Royals’ home television territory can buy an in-market Royals.TV streaming subscription for $99.99 per year, with no blackouts. Out-of-market viewers can watch with an MLB.TV subscription for $149.99 per year.
