  If you’re a Dodgers fan, you might want to check your blood pressure after watching this one. Los Angeles rolled into Chase Field trying desperately to snap an ugly seven-game losing skid, and they nearly choked away another masterclass pitching performance to do it.

  Yoshinobu Yamamoto was dealing all night, throwing 5 and 2/3 scoreless innings before handing it over to the bullpen. Kyle Tucker finally broke the ice with a solo tank in the 8th to give L.A. a fragile 1-0 lead. Enter the 9th inning, where closing duties once again became a house of horrors: after blowing a game the night before, Edwin Díaz coughed up the lead courtesy of back-to-back triples from Geraldo Perdomo and Corbin Carroll.

  With free baseball locked in, the Dodgers finally scratched across the go-ahead run in the 10th when Shohei Ohtani poked a clutch, two-out infield single that Arizona’s defense couldn’t corral.
