The 2026 MLB All-Star Game will be held Tuesday. The annual event will pit the best from the American League and the National League against each other in an exhibition.
It was announced Sunday that the Toronto Blue Jays‘ Dylan Cease and the Philadelphia Phillies‘ Cristopher Sánchez would be the starting pitchers.

These lineups are more of a formality if this year’s All-Star Game is like previous Midsummer Classics. With every team having at least one representative, managers tend to make substitutions quickly and work in most of the players for at least one defensive inning or at-bat. The only exception to that might be for the Phillies players, given that the game will be held at Citizens Bank Park.
Dodgers manager Dave Roberts will head the National League team, and Toronto Blue Jays manager John Schneider will be the skipper for the American League team.
