Over the years, Charlie Woods has seen his father, Tiger, play a lot of golf.
Clearly, his father’s playing style has made an impact on him. A recent video from PGA showed Charlie’s “uncanny” resemblance to Tiger, from his swing, to his celebrations and other mannerisms on the golf course.
“Obviously the two things that stick out,” Tiger said. “The timing of the twirls and the pick up of the tee. And two, just the nose thing that we have. We both have allergies, so we both struggle on the golf course. We get, like, wind blowing and we’re both sniffing. Just that little thing that we both have.”
Considering all of Tigers’ achievements, including five wins at the Masters, it’s probably a good idea for Charlie to imitate his game as closely as possible.
Charlie, 16, is off to a solid start to his young career while playing on the Junior PGA Championship, picking up wins at the SFPGA Jr Cup in 2024 and the Team TaylorMade Invitational alongside his father earlier this year.
