Former Lakers center Trey Jemison and Toronto Raptors have reached an agreement on a two-way contract. Jemison spent the 2025-26 season on a two-way deal with New York and was part of the Knicks team that captured the NBA championship.
After becoming an NBA champion with the New York Knicks, Trey Jemison has reportedly secured another opportunity in the league.
According to NBA insider Chris Haynes, the 26-year-old center has reached an agreement with the Toronto Raptors on a two-way contract.
Jemison spent the 2025-26 season on a two-way deal with New York and was part of the Knicks team that captured the NBA championship.
Jemison played limited role for champion Knicks
The 6-10 center appeared in 13 regular-season games for New York, averaging 1.0 point, 1.4 rebounds, and 0.4 assists in 6.3 minutes per contest while shooting 60.0% from the field.
He spent a larger portion of the season with the Westchester Knicks in the G League, where he averaged 8.0 points, 8.4 rebounds, 3.0 assists, and 1.4 blocks across 21 appearances.
Jemison officially finishes his time in New York with one NBA championship on his resume.
Former Lakers center continues NBA journey
Jemison went undrafted in 2023 before beginning his NBA career with the Washington Wizards and Memphis Grizzlies.
He later represented the New Orleans Pelicans and Los Angeles Lakers during the 2024-25 campaign, appearing in 38 games between the two teams.
Across his first 63 NBA appearances, including 14 starts, Jemison averaged 4.2 points and 3.8 rebounds in 15.3 minutes while shooting 55.2% from the field.
His best NBA performance came with Memphis in March 2024, when he recorded a career-high 24 points on 11-of-13 shooting against the Wizards.
Jemison will now compete for playing time with Toronto while also being available for the franchise’s G League affiliate, Raptors 905.
