Broadcast details for Florida's homecoming game vs South Carolina

Florida football’s Week 5 homecoming game against the South Carolina Gamecocks, scheduled for kickoff on Saturday, Oct. 10, at 12:45 p.m. ET inside Ben Hill Griffin Stadium, will be televised on SEC Network, the Southeastern Conference announced on Sunday.

UF holds a 74-26-2 all-time record in homecoming games dating back to 1916, including a 32-5 mark since 1989. Those five losses came against Mississippi State in 2010, Missouri and Vanderbilt in back-to-back years in 2013 and 2014, LSU in 2017, and Missouri again in 2018.

Florida defeated Mississippi State, 23-21, in the Swamp last season.

Since 2000, Florida has played every homecoming game against an SEC opponent except one — Louisiana Monroe in 2012. The Gators have faced Vanderbilt eight times, Missouri and South Carolina four times, Mississippi State three times, Kentucky and LSU twice, and Auburn and Arkansas once.

Florida leads the all-time series against South Carolina with a 31-10-3 record dating back to 1911, having won the last two meetings and five of the last six. The Gators last faced the Gamecocks on homecoming back in 2020, defeating the visitors, 38-24.
