The 2026 City Connect jerseys are here and Major League Baseball really outdid themselves. City Connect jerseys launched for the first in 2021 to celebrate the bond between MLB teams and their local communities.
Every year, one team really dominates this jersey collection. The pink and mint San Diego City Connect jerseys from 2022-2025 are so good. But, for the 2026 collection, it’s the Kansas City Royals that take the crown. While I’m getting soccer kit vibes, the blue and purple just really stand out. This is where the league really hurts my feelings (or maybe ownership), because you can’t tell me that a New York City-City Connect jersey wouldn’t be absolutely incredible, but the Yankees have never been included.
