What Brooks Koepka was doing in Portugal before withdrawing from Rocket Classic
Former England cricketer Michael Vaughan played a round of golf with Brooks Koepka on a trip to Portugal last week.
While many would expect a PGA Tour star to play with his friends or fellow pros, Koepka was involved in a random match.

Vaughan sounded surprised by the opportunity to play with Koepka, although the American did not take it seriously.

According to Vaughan, the former LIV Golfer had a lot to drink throughout the round, though he was still impressive.
He explained on The Overlap Cricket: “I got drawn against Brooks Koepka. My partner, Rick, and I played Brooks and his pal, Kyle.
“He’s strong, yeah. It was his enjoyment time, his week off from professional golf, so he was doing a tequila shot every hole and a bit of Super Bock.
“I tried to keep up. Usually when I play golf, I get a shot per hole, but I didn’t realise what shot per hole I was getting.
“He was kind. He smokes it. He hit one 330 yards onto a green.”
