Triolo isn’t in the lineup for the first game of Saturday’s doubleheader against the Guardians.
Triolo has made six straight starts at shortstop and closed out the first half with a three-hit performance against Milwaukee, but the Pirates will keep him on the bench to begin Saturday’s twin bill. Jacob Gonzalez will get the nod at shortstop and bat eighth.
